Okinawa Japan, The Ancient Ryukyu Kingdom
Okinawa is made up of over 160 islands scattered over the Pacific Ocean. Okinawa is a sub tropical climate with warm clear waters to dive and explore year round.
Okinawa sea temperatures peak in the range 28 to 30°C (82 to 86°F) in mid July and are at their lowest in mid February, in the range 21 to 23°C (70 to 73°F). Year round warm ocean temperatures allow enjoyment of the Okinawa ocean for 12 months out of the year. "Winter" months are best dove with a 5mm suit and hood if windy and rainy, while summer months allow us to dive in shorts and rash guards.

The air temperature in Okinawa is favorable all year with our cooler months of Jan and Feb still have low temps of only 14-15C with daily highs of 19-20C on average. Our summer months are warm but the cool sea breezes found on the island keep the heat bearable. Temperature usually max out in the low 30'sC during July and August.
