Our New Boat has Arrived!! The Reef Encounter 1 has already started taking divers to the sites around Okinawa. Those of you who have dove with us in the past will be pleased with the extra room and much better ride the new boat has. The upgraded range and size opens up even more dive spots for us to enjoy while we still keep the number of divers small so you are not crowded. Trips to the Kerama Islands take aproximately 1 hour at a cruising speed of 18-20 knots. Trips to Chiibishi, Rukan, and northern dive locations around Okinawa takes about 30 minutes.
The back deck is fully shaded for comfort and the flying bridge offers customer shaded seating to fully enjoy the view while we are cruising to dive sites. Down below we have a fully enclosed dry cabin with head and warm fresh water showers.
Instructor Training for 2014
Reef Encounters will be starting its first block of instructor training this January. If you are already a certified diver and want to be an instructor now is the time to start that training. Divers who meet the qualifications can be teaching by this spring. Newly certifed divers may be able to complete divemaster training by spring time and be guiding divers on trips come the spring time. Is it time to start that new career?
