New Boat Coming Soon!!! The Flying Dragon after two years of faithful service has been retired. We are upgrading to a fastest more comfortable ride. But don't worry or daily boat dives are still running to all the fabulous spots that we visited before. Trips to the Kerama Islands take aproximately 1 hour at a cruising speed of 18-20 knots. Trips to Chiibishi, Rukan, and northern dive locations around Okinawa takes about 30 minutes.

NAUI Tech Comes to Okinawa!!

Reef Encounters will now be offering the full range of NAUI Tech courses for you to further your diving explorations. Classes from Intro to Tech through Trimix Level II and Technical Wreck Penetration will now be part of the regular schedule of classes offered at Reef Encounters.

Yonaguni Tours

We have tours scheduled for Feb 13th for sharks and Ruins. Or get your group of 5 together and we will shedule a custom tour for you!!! Pricing starts at Y126,000 for three nights up to 8 dives. We have many open dates in January if you are looking to go also.
