Aaah...Tokashiki Island, gem of the Keramas! Tokashiki is one of four islands in the Keramas that people live on. Tokashiki is also host to numerous spectacular dive sites. Boats travel from Naha, Chatan, and ports within the Keramas to dive Tokashiki.
Some of the more popular sites lie on the west side of Tokashiki in the Arigaa area. Arigaa Cable is easy to recognize underwater because of the thick telephone cables that extend underwater from Tokashiki to Zamami and Aka Islands for communication purposes. Follow the cables deeper to find hundreds of Spotted Garden Eels popping out of the sand - always a crowd favorite. A bit further down from the garden eels lies a large rock that is home to some very nice soft and hard corals, lots of anthies and blue green damselfish, anenome fish, and coral trout. If you look closely there are two camouflaged Leaf Scorpion Fish also. Happy hunting!
Please have a look at the site map for more clarity. All depths are in meters. Sorry, only Japanese.
