Overview
Located 30 minutes away from the busy streets of Naha, Chatan town has lots to offer in the way of accommodation. Getting out of the city and into the beach-side way of life is what Okinawa is all about. Staying close to our shop minimizes transit time to and from your hotel (approx 1 hr to Naha during rush hour). Also, staying close to our shop allows us to give better service to our divers, be it logging dives, an extra night dive, servicing gear, checking out the day's photos, or just kicking back at the shop, we are just a stone throw away. We have Moved!!!
We have moved to our new shop and offices. We are located just 400meters south of the old shop. We have a larger shop, office and classroom. Due to the move we have been behind on email and stuff so please be sure to call for any reservations or other problems.
NAUI Tech Comes to Okinawa!!
Reef Encounters will now be offering the full range of NAUI Tech courses for you to further your diving explorations. Classes from Intro to Tech through Trimix Level II and Technical Wreck Penetration will now be part of the regular schedule of classes offered at Reef Encounters.

The summer season is kicking off and classes are filling quickly. Remember we have day, evening and weekend schedules available. Classes can be taught in English or Japanese.
